Coming from London, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham airports you are traveling from the North.

Northwards Travel 

By road from the M6 onto the M54. Then onto the A5 past Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Llangollen, onto the A494. You will then see the sign for Llanfor 0.5 mile from Bala. Turn right here.

Pen-Isar Llan is the very first right turn after you have turned off of the A494 for the village. The farmhouse/guest house entrance is the 1st turning and the cottage and bunkhouse is the 2nd turning into the courtyard. 

Southwards Travel 

From the South, pass through Bala and keep on the A494 to the next village of Llanfor which is 0.5 mile further on from Bala. Turn left here.
