Pen-isa'r-llan is a beautiful, traditional, stone, welsh farmhouse dating back over 400 years and set in 7 acres of rolling farm land which houses our 5 horses.  The house has been lovingly restored ensuring that our guests are comfortable, and can benefit from all the modern facilities, but ensuring that the charm and original features from exposed beams to slate flooring can be enjoyed and admired by all.

Here at Pen-isa'r-llan we provide a variety of accommodation to meet all your needs and budgets, ranging from:

B&B (Family rooms, double rooms, twin rooms)
Farm House (sleeps 20)
Bunk House (sleeps 22)
Holiday Cottage (sleeps 10)

We cater for families, couples, individuals and large groups.  We welcome young children, and will do our best to provide you with the things you might need. Dogs are also welcome.

Here at Pen-Isar –Llan we also provide walking holidays for all the family.  Our guided walks are pitched at all levels from the novice wanting to get that KICK START into a healthier life style or the more experienced.  Regardless, you will experience the wonderful, natural beauty of the amazing countryside just on our door step.

Our welcoming, small town of Bala is at the northern end of the incredible, five mile long Lake Bala at the edge of Snowdonia. This is an area renowned for outstanding natural beauty and breathtaking scenery. Nature provides for everything you could need on holiday here, with white water rafting, walking, swimming, cycling, sailing, fishing, bird watching and a host of other nearby activities guaranteed to keep the whole family happy.

Our guests wake up to the beauty of Welsh countryside and know they have discovered paradise. Particularly here in Bala where we nestle beneath three mountain peaks at the edge of one of the UK's most beautiful lakes and are immersed in the flora and fauna unique to this area.
